Strength in unity. At NCI, this conviction is at the heart of our approach. That's why we are thrilled to announce new strategic collaborations today that will allow us to broaden our horizons and amplify the impact of our actions with young people, both in France and in Benin.
Expanding Mobility Opportunities in Europe
To continue offering enriching intercultural experiences, we are proud to partner with the Youth Mobility Network (YMN), a dynamic European network of youth organizations. This partnership opens new and exciting doors:
- More opportunities: Our members will have access to a wider range of "Training Courses" and youth exchanges throughout Europe, on various themes ranging from art to ecology.
- Hosting volunteers: This collaboration will facilitate hosting young international volunteers in France for our local projects, enriching our actions with new perspectives.
Preparing the Ground in Benin: The First Pillars of Our Future Branch
In parallel, we are actively preparing for our next major step: the opening of our branch in Abomey-Calavi, Benin. For this project to be a success rooted in local reality, we have begun to build a network of partners on the ground. This phase is crucial for building a solid foundation.
- Identifying key players: We are getting in touch with youth associations, environmental NGOs, and local initiatives that share our vision.
- Building trust: These initial exchanges allow us to understand the real needs of the community and to co-create a project that is meaningful to them.
- Laying the first stones: Each new relationship is an essential brick in building an autonomous and relevant NCI-Benin branch, ready to launch its own programs upon its official opening.
A Shared Vision for Serving Youth
These new partners, whether in Europe or Benin, were not chosen at random. We share fundamental values with them: youth empowerment, the promotion of intercultural dialogue, and the belief that collaboration is the key to tackling the complex challenges of our time. By joining forces, we are stronger and more relevant.
"Each new partner is a new door opening for the young people we support. It is by weaving these connections that we build a solid and lasting network of solidarity."– Sergio Gandonou, Co-president of NCI
The Future Looks Promising
These collaborations mark a new stage in NCI's development. They reflect our desire to grow, learn, and connect to offer the best to our community. Stay tuned, because great projects will soon see the light of day, in Europe as in Africa!
